Nelson Newborn - 5 days

Nicole & I swung by Miss T's house on Thursday to capture her newness. She had arrived only FIVE days before! Her momma called me on Monday and I don't remember much of the phone call after her telling me that she was 2 days old. Lol! (I was having a hard time processing that they were ALREADY home from the hospital and comfortably at home!) Wow! God is SO GOOD!

She is a beautiful addition to the Nelson family. Mr. P is loving his new baby sister and so are we! Thank you, Mom & Dad for opening your home to us once again. We love visiting and always feel at home! Love and blessings....

It's a girl...

This precious little one is the newest addition of one of our RPT families. She was so sweet, letting us work her over and smiling all the while. She isn't too fond of hats, though. lol! She did let us get a few and they are precious. Thank you Mom and Dad (and Granny) for trusting me with her newness. She is a beautiful gal and we can't wait to celebrate her milestones with you! More of Mr. Wyatt....

Momma brought Wyatt back out last week so I could 'play'. I always love having babies in the studio. Once we convinced him that sleeping was the thing to do, we were able to snag a few moments. Hello! My Name is....

We got to celebrate with the Covey family last week, they recently welcomed home a handsome baby boy. Dad has a really cool tattoo, and all we had to do was add their new little man's name and viola....an announcement all its own! Thank you guys for trusting your growing family to us! A glimpse at heaven....

Isn't he beautiful....Logan and Jess brought out the newest member of their family last night to capture his sweetness. (It was a very crazy day for us around here and I thank you both for your patience throughout the whole ordeal.) As you all know, Logan and Jess are very special to us and so this was an honor for me as a friend and photog. As I was editing these images, I just kept thinking that this is the closest glimpse most of us will ever get to beholding an angel while in our human form. In their purest sense, recently with our Father, and unfooled around with; A baby, a sweet blessing from above. And until you have one of your own, I truly don't think you can understand how much you are truly loved by Him. Now you both know.
Cherish that knowledge and seek His guidance in your walk of being a parent and you can't go wrong. Love and blessings...

Introducing Miss M!

Sweet Miss M. came by the studio last week to take her debut photos. She is the newest member of one of our favorite studio families. We have enjoyed spending time and getting to know the Potts family over the last year. It is funny that Miss M. and McKenna share the same birthday, because KK is in love with this family! She hit it off with them from the first second. You all have been so blessed and we hope you enjoy this very special time. We are so thankful that we could be a part of it! Love and Blessings.....

Introducing Mr. R!

Last Thursday we got to enjoy Mr. R in all of his newness. He came to visit us at only 7 days new. It is always so much fun and awe inspiring to get my hands on them when they are this tiny. It is also so important to record! They will change so quickly and it will be hard to remember how tiny they really were. (Sleep deprivation can do wonders to a new Mom's memory!) But Momma M, you will always have him at 7 days new....thank you for coming out. We look forward to watching him grow and helping you hold onto him just a little bit longer. Blessings....

A new family...

The Lord has blessed us with a new family in our community and we finally got to spend some time with them this week when they came out to celebrate the birth of their new baby girl. She surprised us all when she slept for the majority of her session and we were able to get some precious shots. Big sister wasn't much interested in taking pictures, but we still managed to get some with her in her new role! You guys have a beautiful family and we look forward to getting to know you guys better! Blessings!

Introducing Chase...

Chase was sweet enough to stop by on Friday to take a few shots for me. I did Momma's maternity shots a little while ago and have been wanting to get my lens on him since his arrival a few weeks ago. He is a beautiful boy. Thank you, Momma and Dad for bringing him out and letting me get some new shots.

Introducing Teagan Tidwell...

Our coach at Stuart and his lovely wife, just welcomed home their first child. He is quite a handsome little man. Being a coach, we had to get some sports shots in. His room has a sports theme too, so these will look so great in there. We shot him on a basketball, football, and then with his ball and mit. It will be a few years before he grows into each, but it will seem like an instant. Enjoy every second, it goes way too quickly. Handsome Justice

Welcome to the world, Justice Kade. Joe and Ashton were our first session of the year with their maternity in January and it is one of my favorites, ever. So, I was very excited when Ashton called last week to say that Justice had arrived and he was ready to make his portrait debut. He was so sweet and handsome, we didn't want him to leave. You guys have a precious family and are always a joy to hang with. Enjoy your new little man. We can't wait to watch him grow.

Sweet Shane

Well I am getting ready to cash in my chips, but I had to share with you all who I got to spend my morning with....Sweet Shane. Isn't she the most precious little baby! She is only 6 days old and a whopping 6 pounds! (Reminds me so much of KK when she was little.) I could have spent the whole day just capturing this sweet bundle. Thank you, Momma and Mimi for bringing her out this morning! It was a blessing holding your precious gift.

The Nelson Twins

I am happy to introduce two of the newest members of the RPT family, Mr. E and Miss O. This bundle arrived on November 6th, which brings them right at about two weeks. They were so sweet this morning, snuggling and loving on each other. We had a great session, Dad even snuck in a cat nap. (Hope you got yours, Momma!) It was a pleasure spending the morning with you all! And I didn't want you to wait any longer on this image...When we did their maternity session we snapped a quick picture that would be used to create a 'glimpse' on the inside. Well, here it is....

A Sweet family...

We got to spend the afternoon with a beautiful and sweet family. The Gibson clan came out to capture their newest addition. Miss S. is stunning at 3 weeks and her big bro is a handsome little man, too! KK enjoyed his company and was very sad to see him go! We hope you were able to get a really cool train! You did a great job today!! Thank you Mom & Dad for driving down to see us. You guys have a wonderful family and it was our pleasure spending the afternoon with you! Sweet baby girl

Mom & Dad brought out their new angel today. She set a new RPT record, here she is at only 6 days! :) She has the most delicate features, so beautiful. Once we finally convinced her that she was still the star, even though she would be ASLEEP, we got some precious shots. Here are a few for you to enjoy. Beautiful Boy!

Dad probably won't like me referring to his new man as beautiful, but I can't help it. He is BEAUTIFUL! I could have taken pictures of him all day. I was so excited about these images. I saw this image out of Australia a year or so ago. They had an infant in a tree stump and I thought how awesome. Total nature, created by God, awe inspiring. Well, have tree stump & beautiful baby & proud parents who were up for anything...

Kenzi Jo

I promised last week that these images would be coming soon and here they are. Kenzi Jo at 8 days...She was so sweet today. It took her a little while to relax and fall asleep, so we got some sweet shots of her awake and asleep. The perfect newborn session.
