First Senior of the Season

So, I was making breakfast one morning and I was thinking...Wouldn't it be really cool to stage a living room in the woods. I know, you guys are probably in the same boat with my husband on thinking I have a little bit of crazy in my genes, but I guess you kinda have to! Well, in honor of our very first senior of 2008, we made it a reality! And boy did it turn out AWESOME! Kelsey did an amazing job and we got some really great shots! Finally a Teenager...

Today was a special day at RPT, I got to celebrate my niece's 13th birthday! Well, actually she turned 13 at the first of the month, but she is quite the busy gal with dance, cheerleading, and just being a teenager. This was the first day she was 'available'. lol! Ta-Ta, I had so much fun today! You are a beautiful, sweet, and caring young woman, who we are all very proud of. We love you! Here are several from the session today. I am having a really hard time choosing which ones stay and which ones go!!! You are breathtaking!! All our love.....

Ledbetter Family

We had some fun this evening with the Ledbetter family! They have the sweetest children and so beautiful! Sorry Mr. D, handsome! :) KK cried when they left. We better get on that play date Momma!! It was great catching up again after all these years. I look forward to getting together soon! Have fun this weekend at your reunion. Thanks for bringing the kids out. You have a beautiful family! Family Fun!

I had a little impromptu session this evening with the Flantroy family. What a fun family this is! All I did was laugh! Little man didn't want to have his picture made tonight, though. He was all about the camera, but he wanted to be BEHIND it, not in front of it! I think I know what he needs for Christmas! :) Big sister made up for it, though. Here is a little peek at the session. And baby boy makes four!

I stopped by the Anderson's home to capture their newest addition. He is quite a handsome little man. Big sister is doing a great job with him too!! Thank you, Miss G for hanging in there!! You did great! We weren't quite sure if he was going to sleep for us or not, but thankfully our patience paid off. Here are just a few. Thank you for giving us a call! Congratulations, Miss J!!!!

Miss J came out to our studio a month or so ago to get her pagent portfolio ready for state competition. Well, her Mom called me today and she placed FIRST!!! She won Petite Miss Overall Portfolio at the Our Diamond Miss Oklahoma State Pagent in Oklahoma City this past weekend!!! We are so proud of her! She is quite a beauty and a sweetheart to boot. Enjoy this success! We know it is just the beginning!!!

The Cunningham Family

Jess and I headed over to Ashland this morning to capture the Cunningham family in action. We had a great morning and even though it was hotter than Haiti, we got some really precious shots. Birthday Boy

Mr. J came out this morning for a little play date. Isn't he handsome?! His Mom and Dad wanted to capture his first birthday in style! We had fun playing outside. And when it was time, he tore into his cake! Definitely my kind of man when it comes to sweets! Thank you Mom and Dad for bringing him by. Here is a little peek at the session. A Princess Tea Party

We had a princess play date today with Miss S. It was tons of fun watching her enjoy her tea party. Dad even joined in for a few shots that will be cherished forever! We girls LOVE that kind of stuff! Great job, Dad!! Even though Miss S was all about the cookies, we got some really sweet shots of her having a special day. Here are just a few to enjoy...

2nd Annual Senior Model Search!!

First of all, we want to thank the community for their support with last years Senior Model Search. It was a tremendous success and we were very proud to add those selected seniors to our extended RPT family. They were an awesome bunch and we had loads of fun capturing their unique style!! The Lord blessed us with some very deserving seniors and they are all headed for college and we are excited about their futures!

Well, here we are again, man how time flies. A year has blown past and it is time for our Second Annual Senior Model Search. In preparing for its launch and in recognition of last years outstanding contestants, we thought long on hard on what we wanted this contest to represent. Therefore, we have narrowed our focus to highlight those exceptional seniors in the community.

If you know a graduating senior who has gone above and beyond and is deserving of FREE Portrait Session and Collection, a graduate who has unique talents or a special gift to share, we'd love to hear about them! We at RPT Photography feel it is important to reward those graduating seniors who are making a difference.

We are proud to announce the beginning of our 2008-2009 Scholarship Program. To nominate your son or daughter, teammate, sister or brother, classmate, niece or nephew, best friend, granddaughter or grandson, or family friend, please write an essay (a few paragraphs will do) telling us why we should choose your nominee. The only thing we ask is that your nominee be a 2009 graduating senior, in McAlester or surrounding areas. Be sure to include your contact information! We will be accepting nominations through September 15th. Nominations should be submitted via email to rptphotography@yahoo.com or you can mail them to us at P.O. Box 142, Stuart, OK, 74570.

We will be awarding 3 scholarships. Each candidate will receive Collection ONE, valued at $359. Winners will be announced on our blog on October 1st. Those selected will be contacted by our studio to set up your session. Sessions must be completed by January 1st, 2009.

Sweet baby girl

The Green family recently welcomed home a new baby girl. A wonderful addition to their already beautiful family. Big sister is doing an awesome job! Roly Poly Fun!!

I fell in love with the Ayers family this morning. Who knew a roly poly could make a little girl giddy! After playing in the water for a few minutes with Mom, she loosened up and was all belly laughs. And when I say belly laughs, you can't help but join right in! :) So much fun!!! E-session

Darick & Dannielle - Thanks for coming out this evening! We had a great time with you two love birds :) We tried to hit the Canadian River for some romantic beach shots, but you will just have to check back later for those. Braxton is FIVE!

We got to hang out this morning with Braxton and his Mommy. We had a lot of fun playing with sidewalk chalk and finding money!!
