For my Mom's....

Well, the first one was for me...lol...Had a little session tonight with KK on the set for a project we will be doing over the next few weeks. (More details will follow on this as the project unfolds and comes to completion.) But I wanted to post a few images for my Mom's who will be participating. I am loving the white on white!! Very refreshing and clean!

A special thanks to my wonderful husband who has a loving eye when shooting his girls. Just like the rest of you, I don't love to be photographed. But what gets me in front of the lens is knowing I want to remember these times and I am always awed by the emotion captured by a loving lens. I love you, baby...

I am so excited about this project and so thankful to the Lord for his amazing blessings! Hope you enjoy the images...You won't see the book image here. (Oops! Well, there is a hint...)

Introducing Mr. R!

Last Thursday we got to enjoy Mr. R in all of his newness. He came to visit us at only 7 days new. It is always so much fun and awe inspiring to get my hands on them when they are this tiny. It is also so important to record! They will change so quickly and it will be hard to remember how tiny they really were. (Sleep deprivation can do wonders to a new Mom's memory!) But Momma M, you will always have him at 7 days new....thank you for coming out. We look forward to watching him grow and helping you hold onto him just a little bit longer. Blessings....

Momma and her girls...

Big sister is the one who called and scheduled the appointment and I am so thankful she did. It took the little ones a little while to come out of their shell, but when they did, it was magic. Pam, the Lord has blessed you with a beautiful family of girls. They each have a beautiful heart and I enjoyed getting to spend some time with you all. Thank you so much for the opportunity. I look forward to working with you guys again soon!

Brothers!

Cooper and his little bro came out to celebrate his 5th birthday and bubbas 1st. It was Friday evening and I guess we were all just feeling a bit goofy. Cooper was a bit nervous and had this blinking thing going on. Along with a million different smiles to match his nerves. And then lil brother just didn't want to have anything to do with 'taking pictures'. He would just wander through the studio and we would be like "Cooper! Go sit by bubba! Hurry!!" I haven't laughed so hard in years!! Thank you Dad and Mom for all your help, and jokes! We are definitely going to film the next session! lol!

And I don't know what it is with 5 year olds. I thought it was just KK, but apparently they all want to have a cake to take pictures with. It isn't fair that the 1 year olds get to and they don't. So, Mom and Dad let Mr. Cooper enjoy some fun in the cake as well. Here is a shot of the both of them after the festivities. I just love the pucker on little brother!! Hope yal had a great weekend!! Great seeing you guys!

Sweet grandbabies!

Malo brought out her grandbabies on Friday morning, which just so happened to be the youngest ones 2nd birthday. We had so much fun getting to know them and just hanging out. They are a great group and so much fun to photograph. Thanks for spending the morning with us and we hope you had a very happy birthday, Mr. C!!!

Payten is O-N-E!

The last time I saw this little man was shortly after his birth. Lets just say he has changed a little since then! We had fun chasing him around and getting to spend time with him and his family. It was great seeing you guys again! Thanks for making the drive to the studio! (I owe you a car wash!!!) And Thanks for being such a great sport about our country road!

The Weeks Family

Miss A and her big bro brought Mom and Dad out last week to get some new family portraits. We started outdoors and even though it was early morning, it was still hotter than we would have liked, so we moved indoors to cool off and shoot in the studio. It was great seeing you guys again. We miss our Tuesday night T-ball games! Well, I do. KK, not so much! lol! Well, we hope you had a great vacation and safe travels. Thanks for coming out!

KK turns 5!

Our little girl isn't so little anymore....She will be turning 5 at the end of this month. These are a few shots from our announcement session. Those who are friends of the studio know that we do one of these every year. It is a great way to keep family and friends, who don't get to see her all that often, in touch with how much she has grown and changed. She is really coming into her own and we are so proud that the Lord chose us to be her parents. She has a sweet spirit and is so kind. We love you KK and are blessed to call you ours.

Four Generations....

It was such a pleasure spending the evening with the Sturm/McNutt family. They are such a sweet family and instantly made us all feel right at home. I'm the one that is suppose to be doing that, lol. We hope you all had a wonderful 4th and safe travels! Blessings to you all!

Mr. B at 18 mos!

Mr. B loves his tractors and horses. He and his family are always a pleasure to have in the studio. Can't believe he will be celebrating his 2nd birthday at the end of this year. His Momma and I were talking about how much he has changed. Not a baby anymore. This was hard to watch for me. Even though we are excited to see them grow, that first stage from baby to toddler is the beginning of it all. It has been such a blessing to watch him grow through the studio. Time flies when you are having fun!

And who doesn't love a little sweet eyes...Melts your heart...

You're lookin' right? Rotten! Love it!

Our little cousin will be celebrating her very first birthday in the next week or so. We can't believe she has already been with us for a year. She is so stinkin' cute and we love her so much! Thank you Kenzi for stopping by the studio! It is always a joy to get to spend some time with one of my favorite gals! Happy Birthday beautiful girl!
