Good Morning Bloggers! Hope you are looking forward to a few warm days, I know I am! Well, it is almost spring around here and we have already had our cut off for 2009 seniors, so I thought it was a great time to make some changes around here. A little spring cleaning of sorts.
Beginning May 1st, all new sessions (excluding seniors and boudoir) booked after today, March 16th will be subject to this change. Those of you who have sessions already booked (excluding seniors and boudoir) are going to be able to take advantage of this offer if you so choose.
Beginning May 1st, Family, Children, Maternity, Newborn and Tween sessions will have the option to purchase a CD package. The CD package is $325 and includes a custom portrait session here at the studio with indoor and outdoor shooting options, a minimum of 20 edited portraits on a CD, and a 5x7 spiral bound proof book showcasing your portraits. A $100 deposit will be required to hold your date and the remainder, $225 will be due the day of your session.
We also have a 5x5 high end fabric covered album that will be showcased in another CD package. As most of you know, the spiral bound proof books are not printed with the intention of lasting forever. It should be used as a brag book to show your friends and family and to aide you in making your portrait choices. The album mentioned above will contain portraits printed on professional papers and lustre coated for protection. This album will be around for many many years. The cost of this album is $550, with a $100 deposit required to hold your session date. We have several on hand here at the studio, so if you are interested and would like to see a sample, just say the word!
As noted above, boudoir and senior sessions will continue to be able to purchase products via our a la carte and collections pricing. We will also continue to offer large prints (11x14 and larger), canvases, storyboards and collages, announcements and invitations, and other custom items through the studio.
Some of you may be reading this and say, what if I don't want the CD? I have decided to allow my current a la carte pricing to be available to my clients who just don't want the hassle of ordering your own prints. To do this, I am going to begin requiring a portrait deposit in addition to the session fee. So, beginning May 1, you will be required to place a $150 print deposit, in addition to the session fee. $100 will be required to hold your session date.

The Horn's came out on Saturday morning to capture their family in action. I know what Dad is thinking...EARLY! lol! Momma is one lucky woman, with 4 handsome men in her life. She probably doesn't even mind all the testosterone she has to deal with on a daily basis! We had a great time just hanging out and getting to know them. Here are just a few of the youngest members. Johnathan will be graduating soon from Kiowa. We had the honor of spending some time with him yesterday. It was a little rainy, but we still managed to get quite a few shots in. He is an awesome guy and we enjoyed hanging with him, his Mom and little bro. Here are just a quick few...And yes, the last one is REAL fire! Too Awesome!
Bridget and her BF, Charity, swung by the studio on Thursday to celebrate her upcoming college graduation. This is such a huge accomplishment and I am so glad to see her taking advantage of the celebration! Both of these ladies have a great future ahead of them and we were so fortunate to meet them! Thanks for letting us be a part of this special time. It is just the beginning! Enjoy it!
Kyle stopped by the studio a couple weeks ago to shoot some shots for one of his favorite past times, singing. I got a retro microphone just for the occasion and the shots turned out really cool.
